“ Building has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I got my love for the trades from my grandfather and started building while I was still a teenager.

As a homeschooled student, I had the opportunity to make building a real part of my education. For my high school senior project, I took on one of my first major projects—building my family’s goat barn. What started as an interest quickly became something I knew I wanted to pursue.

Since then building has taken me a lot of places. From new homes and renovations here in Northern New York to volunteering my time and skills on the maintenance team in refugee camps in Greece, I’ve learned that good work is about more than what you build. It’s about showing up, solving problems, and doing work you can be proud to put your name on.
